Action: to develop partnerships with parents, students, schools, educators, artists, business organizations, and other arts advocates to create and implement projects ensuring quality arts education for all students.

Networking: to develop a network for communication among those who are concerned about arts education.
Information: to keep members and the public informed about state and national arts education research, programs and projects.

History
Since 1974, the Arizona Alliance for Arts education has strengthened and supported arts education across Arizona.
Utilizing the capacity of hundreds of educators, teachers and not-for-profit organizations, the Arizona Alliance for Arts Education has provided professional development, technical assistance, recognition, tools, and resources to teachers, parents and not-for-profit organization, ensuring all arts for all children all across Arizona.
The Arizona Alliance for Arts Education has an unequal advantage by providing connections and communications among organizations; being a convener of organizations; providing a unified voice in all art forms; shaping and informing public policy through research; being a conduit of information; and representing all arts forms or concerns that affect all arts.
The Arizona Alliance for Arts Education is a member of the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network, a program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington D.C. The Alliance is a 501C3 coalition of organizations and individuals who work to develop and support policies and practices of arts education to ensure every child has access to a quality arts education in our state.
