Administrator Award for Outstanding Support of Arts Education

Based on nominations by educators or community members, the Administrator Award for Outstanding Support of Arts Education is given each year at the Arizona School Administrators Association Conference.  An administrator is publicly recognized at the fall conference in Prescott, Arizona to provide recognition of work accomplished and to advocate for arts education.  Approximately 400 administrators attend the yearly conference in September.

Administrator Arts Education Award 2011:  Call for Nominations

The Administrator Arts Education Award is presented to an administrator that has demonstrated commitment and support for arts education programs through funding, program promotion, maintenance or expansion.

Specific criteria include:

• Significance of contributions
• Ongoing scope of the arts education program
• Effect of the arts program on students, teachers and the school
• Nominee must be a member of Arizona School Administrators
• Nominator must be a member of Arizona Alliance for Arts Education
